The Proton X70 may be a compact crossover SUV produced by the Malaysian car maker Proton. Marketed as a C-segment SUV, the car was launched in 12 December 2018, unveiled during a ceremony by then-prime minister and former Proton chairman Mahathir Mohamad.Being the primary SUV released by Proton, it’s conceived by rebadging the Geely Boyue, following the acquisition of Proton by Geely Automobile Holdings in 2017.
In the beginning, the X70 was fully imported (CBU or completely built-up) from China, but since February 2020 the locally assembled version (CKD or completely knocked down) was made available with several notable mechanical changes.
Proton X70 Premium FWD has engine power of 177 hp @ 5500 RPM with 3 Cylinders and top speed is 180 KM/H, each Cylinder of this model has 7 speed automatic drive . This vehicle contains a Petrol suspension, Rack & Pinion with motor Steering Type. Proton X70 Premium FWD uses Petrol equipment . The break system is Front: Discs, Rear: Discs and it’s a 5 door vehicle. The road price of the vehicle could be different as registration etc is additional.

On 24 May 2017, DRB-HICOM because the owner of Proton has reached an agreement with Geely for the Chinese carmaker to accumulate a 49.9% equity stake in Proton. Through the close partnership, Proton will have access to Geely’s technologies to deal with the matter . Within the same day, DRB-HICOM announced an idea to create a crossover SUV for Proton supported the Geely Boyue.The Boyue was picked because it was the first new product under the Geely ownership to compete within the booming SUV market, which Proton had no presence in.
Being the primary Geely-based product, the X70 doesn’t share any components with the other Proton vehicle. Proton claimed that pricing the X70 competitively was an excellent challenge because it lacked parts commonality with other models, and yielded smaller scale production relative to its left-hand drive Chinese counterpart.
